20% under budget. Phase 2 approved at double the investment. Strategy is only as good as its delivery.

Since last summer, we have been working with a national membership organisation representing more than 3,000 businesses across Ireland. Phase 1 has now concluded, and Phase 2 has been approved at more than double the original investment.

Such trust is hard-earned.

It reflects an organisational redesign delivered, a new senior management structure put in place, and the foundations laid for a significant technology upgrade. It was also delivered at around 20% under budget.

More importantly, the client’s own projections show that this year’s investment is on track to be close to break-even, with significant further upside still to come.

By the end of Phase 2, the organisation will be in a materially stronger financial position than when we started, with a leaner structure, a stronger operating model, better enabling technology, and a significantly enhanced ability to deliver value to its 3,000+ members nationwide.

That is what strategic investment should do.
Not produce activity.
Not produce paper.
Produce a stronger organisation, better decisions, and measurable return.

Impetus works with organisations across sectors and scales, from large private sector businesses to smaller not-for-profits. The context may differ, but the standard does not: practical, commercially grounded advice that creates measurable value and leaves clients stronger.

In the words of the CEO: “For every aspect of this programme, Impetus had experts who stepped in and delivered.”

If your organisation is considering a strategic programme and needs confidence that the investment will stand up to scrutiny and deliver real return, we would be glad to talk.
